About You:

You are a graduate of a general engineering school with a strong mechanical focus with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of engineering for the realization of industrial projects or you are a technician with higher education in the mechanics and/or piping with a minimum experience of 10 years, ideally with a management and supervisory function.
You have a taste for a job well done, carried out with innovative assisted design and virtual reality software. Knowledge of tools such as Microstation, Autocad, E3D, S3D or REVIT will be a plus.
You enjoy working on various projects, with renewed teams; you are curious and motivated to be a player in the energy transition; you wish to be involved in the design and construction phases of bio-sourced units, the recycling of materials, the capture of CO2 or the production of green hydrogen.

About the Job:
We are currently looking for a General Piping Installation Manager (F/H) to join our team based in Lyon, France.
You report functionally to the Unit Design and Piping Department Manager and operationally to the Project Manager responsible for supervising the engineering project to which you are assigned.
You are the head of the Unit Design team and supervise the carrying out of general layout studies, the associated 3D model and flexibility calculations. You respect the design procedures of the company, of the client and are the guarantor of the control of the deadlines, the quality and the costs of the studies.
Your main tasks are:
Coordinate the team of designers, piping designers and calculation and piping equipment specialists with the possible assistance of Group Managers,
Measure progress, enforce schedules in your specialty,
Coordinate the exchange of information and documents between your department and the other trades working on the project (Processes, Civil Engineering, Instrumentation, Electricity, etc.)
Ensure the distribution of the various Study documents (diagrams, list of lines, guide plans, isometrics, calculation notes, equipment requisitions, etc.),
Participate in project coordination meetings,
Facilitate design reviews in his discipline (layout reviews, piping, HSE, etc.),
Trace and quantify design changes during studies,
Follow supplier plans and manage changes,
Validate and sign the plans resulting from its service and be the guarantor of quality,
