Scope of Work:

Kent is looking for a Planning Engineer to support an existing Project Management Consultancy for a Low Carbon Project in the UK. The role will be based in London. Hybrid working is available with travel to the client site in North West England.

Key Deliverables:
  • Development and implementation of the Project programme incorporating activity logic, coding, milestones, durations as well as the associated Critical Path and schedule layouts covering FEED, consents and permits, pre-FID, and EPC phases of the project.
  • Creation of the basis of programme.
  • Implementation of detailed work schedule updates and changes including actions and follow-up items from change orders and mitigation actions during the project in accordance with the strategy set by the Project Management Team.
  • Updating of the progress measurement for each phase of the Project and to working closely with the reporters from each discipline group, project manager, contractors, vendors, and other 3rd parties.
  • Report progress in order to update the project progress and develop forecast project plans.
  • Compilation of progress reports and the inclusion of these into the overall progress report as per the Project reporting calendar.


Key Requirements:
  • Qualifications: HNC, BEng, BSc.
  • Competent in use of planning tools such as P6 and Microsoft Project.
