We are currently seeking a Pressure Equipment Engineer JR (fresh graduate), reporting directly to Pressure Equipment Section Head to join our equipment engineering division team based in Rome, Italy.

About the Job

You will work inside the Pressure Equipment department that is in charge of mechanical design, procurement and supplier management of pressure equipment (such reactors, towers, drums, heat exchangers and storage items )

You will lead the integration of the equipment in the plant and you will verify the technical conformity of each component with the project specifications.

Key interfaces of the Pressure Equipment Engineer are Project teams, Procurement department, Process department, Construction department, others engineering disciplines, Clients and Suppliers.

The role and your responsibilities include:
  • ensure timely and qualitative preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines;
  • equipment preliminary design to calculate minimum thicknesses and foundation loads;
  • preparation of material requisition for inquiry;
  • technical analysis of received bids;
  • preparation of material requisition for purchase;
  • managing of detailed engineering phase and technical follow up of the orders ensuring proper communication with suppliers;
  • adhere to the committed man/hours and budget;
  • meet quality and HSE objectives of the project;
  • interface with other discipline engineers and project supporting function such planning and cost controller engineers.


You will have the opportunity to have business trips to attend technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, visit Vendor workshop, move to other Technip Energies operating centers and join our colleagues overseas. You will have also the opportunity to follow up engineering activities directly on our sites, supporting erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.

About You

Qualifications: Master degree in Mechanical Engineering

Languages: English Fluent

Main Skills:
  • attitude to perform the work in team, in an international and multi-cultural environment;
  • availability to international mobility for either short or long term assignment;
  • capability to complete tasks on time with the required Company quality level;
  • knowledge of new energy sources, renewables, green/blue hydrogen technologies
  • knowledge of digital tools
