About the Job

In this pivotal role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, where your expertise in physical security, risk, and incident management will not only be valued but will be instrumental in steering our projects towards success. You'll have the opportunity to work on domestic and global projects, applying innovative solutions to protect our people, property, and reputation against all forms of risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.

Your responsibilities will include crafting and implementing security policies, conducting risk assessments, managing incidents effectively, and collaborating with various teams to ensure a secure and resilient working environment. Your role will be critical in fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.

Job Description
  • Helps to Plan, develop, and assist the Houston OC security manager in managing the physical security, risk, and Incident management program(s) across the Americas.
  • Assists Houston OC manger in, but not limited to
    • Oversight of Technip Energies physical security operations.
    • Development and implementation of site security plans, policies, and operational procedures, conveying and verifying security requirements.
    • Loss prevention
    • Administrative procedures.
    • Corrective actions to upgrade the physical and technical posture of all offices/sites/projects.
  • Acts as liaison officer to project/field operations in the areas of design and implementation of physical security programs & systems.
    • Identifies and recommends electronic access control equipment designed to mitigate, deter, & detect unauthorized entry into facilities or property.
    • Supervises personnel responsible for physical security systems, evaluates performance, and develops process and procedures to mitigate and minimize risks and threats towards people, assets, and reputation.
  • Monitors performance of assigned security personnel across OCs and projects, and carryouts inspections to insure they are properly equipped, trained, and fulfilling their duties in compliance with T.EN corporate security standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Assists, monitors Incident and Emergency response operational plans, procedures and related activities as required.
  • Coordinates physical security administrative and operational matters with management, clients/customers, subcontractors, vendors, and local law enforcement.
  • Contributes to the implementation and maintains relevant Security plans and procedures according to his/her scope and responsibility.
  • Contributes to the realization of the security assessments and inspections, reports inconsistencies and contributes to the improvement of Security and Incident Management Systems.
  • Monitors security performance according to his/her scope and responsibility.

About You

Qualification Requirements
  • Professional Degree in Security, Risk, Crisis Management or Business Continuity or related experience in Security Field.
  • Good understanding of security environment and regulations.
  • Combination of 3-6 years of education, certifications, training and/or work experience in business management, security management, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures and the ability to provide training on these protocols.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and computer systems and software.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
