We are currently seeking a permanent Perth-based Project Manager - Offshore Brownfields EPCm, reporting directly to Director Project Management

About the Job

As a Technip Energies Project Manager with offshore and Brownfield experience, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of several Brownfield projects within a dynamic team. As part of the role, you will manage, support and coordinate several project engineersaccountable for the delivery of between 70 and 80 live projects. You will work closely with clients, the Senior Project Manager, the multiple stakeholders, and project teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

This opportunity will involve managing all aspects of project lifecycle, from initial scoping and feasibility studies through to design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. This includes accountability for the robustness of the project plans, schedules, and budgets, and for ensuring that all project activities are aligned with the client's objectives and requirements.

Summary:
  • Safety driven, ensuring all members carry out their duties in a safe manner according to our Health & Safety policy at all times.
  • High level experience in delivering Offshore Brownfield, Engineering Service EP,EPsCm, EPC, EPCm types of project.
  • Experience in offshore Hook Up & Commissioning will be appreciated.
  • Experience with construction/commissioning activities within operating major HAZID facilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of Project Engineers to deliver high-quality results.
  • Managing project risks, identifying and mitigating potential issues, and communicating/ escalating any changes that might affect the scope or schedule.
  • Promote the lean, fit for purpose approach.
  • Build strong and meaningful partnerships with internal and external stakeholders ensuring everyone are going towards the same vision.
  • Be commercially minded with genuine curiosity of end to end project life cycle and understanding the potential bottlenecks that might arise.
  • Take ownership and accountability of all delivered projects.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders (engineering, procurement, Construction/Commissioning, project Engineering as well as Technip Energies management and with other Technip Energies Operating Centres)
  • Available to travel, spend time offshore as/if required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in project management, with experience in offshore, brownfield, engineering services, familiar with construction/commissioning activities within operating major HAZID facilities (large and complex facilities, such as chemical plants, refineries, and offshore oil and gas platforms). Demonstrable experience in offshore hook up and commissioning is preferred but we are open. You should have a good understanding of the oil and gas industry, including the regulatory environment, and be able to work effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

You should also have high level of interpersonal and communication, with leadership experience to motivate and manage project teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (ideally Mechanical, Civil or Structural or equivalent).
  • 20+ years experience with Engineering, Procurement and Construction model.
  • Demonstrable experience working as part of an integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams.
  • Team player with a positive mindset and can-do attitude
