Offshore / HU Planning Engineer

Location: Tenerife, Spain and Mauritania/Senegal.

Language: Fluent in English.

Contract Duration: 8-month contract.

Work Scheme: Rotation 4 weeks on/4 weeks off. 12h per day 7 days a week.

Airswift is looking for an Offshore / HU Planning Engineer to work with one of our customers in Tenerife, Spain.

Project Coordination and Planning:
  • Collaborate with various teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure effective communication and alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Schedule development/update for Hook-up, Commissioning and Operation & Maintenance.
  • Support preparation of Offshore Works Progress Measurement System.
  • Follow-up Offshore preparation activities.
  • Support Offshore Managers (Hook-up, Commissioning and Operation & Maintenance) with specific / detailed schedule and progress analysis.
  • Support the Sail Away readiness Team with information regarding offshore preparation schedule / requirement (before sail away).

Technical Support and Interface Management:
  • Interface with design, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), risk assessment, and operations teams.
  • Provide input data for design engineering and review subcontractor technical documentation.
  • Organize, gather, and check data from subcontractors needed for installation engineering.

Logistics and Equipment Planning:
  • Prepare transportation plans, sea-fastening lists, and installation aids.
  • Define and confirm required asset equipment with the Operations Department.
  • Ensure smooth transmission of equipment and material requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • proficient in scheduling / progress methodology and tools (P6 and MS Project)
  • significant experience/knowledge in offshore Oil & Gas Project, preferably an experience on board FLNG/FPSO/platform.
  • Communication skills at all levels including project management and staff.
  • Valid BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) and Offshore Medical Fitness Certificate.
