About the Role:

Responsible in overseeing and coordinating the activities related to the Pre-Commissioning phase of a project.

Responsibilities will include:

• Develop pre-commissioning plans outlining the sequence and schedule of activities.
• Create strategies for the efficient execution of Pre-Commissioning tasks.
• Lead a team of Pre-Commissioning engineers, technicians, and specialists.
• Ensure that the team is adequately staffed, trained, and equipped for the tasks at hand.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition from construction to commissioning.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and client representatives.
• Identify potential risks associated with pre-commissioning activities.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to address identified issues.
• Ensure that Pre-Commissioning activities adhere to project specifications, quality standards, and industry regulations.
• Conduct inspections and audits to verify the quality of work.
• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of detailed documentation for Pre-Commissioning activities.
• Ensure that records are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols during Pre-Commissioning activities.
• Conduct safety audits and promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Verify the readiness of equipment and systems for Pre-Commissioning activities.
• Ensure that all necessary inspections and tests are completed before initiating Pre-Commissioning.
• Ensure the Notice of Energization and area delineation is in place prior to energization process is in place.
• Address and resolve issues or challenges that arise during the pre-commissioning phase.
• Raise technical queries as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to find timely and effective solutions.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on Pre-Commissioning progress.
• Address client concerns and ensure client satisfaction with the Pre-Commissioning process.
• Work towards ensuring a smooth handover from Pre-Commissioning to the commissioning phase.
• Verify that all prerequisites for commissioning are met.
• Provide training and guidance to the Pre-Commissioning team members.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Manage the budget for Pre-Commissioning activities and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Optimize resource allocation to meet project deadlines.
