UI/UX Designer
As a UX/UI Designer at ABS Global Venture Lab, specializing in the shipping sector, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and interface of our platform to meet the unique needs and challenges of shipping companies. You will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance usability, streamline workflows, and drive user engagement. What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand user requirements, user flow and business goals.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to visualize and communicate design concepts, user flows, and interactions.
- Design user-friendly interfaces that prioritize simplicity, clarity, and consistency, while adhering to established design guidelines and best practices.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from internal stakeholders and usability testing results, and continuously refine and improve the user experience.
- Work closely with the product team to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently and provide support throughout the development process.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design, and advocate for innovative solutions that push the boundaries of user experience in the shipping industry.
What You Will Need:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Design, or related field.
- > 5 years of experience in UX/UI design.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs, with a focus on user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g. Photoshop, Adobe XD and/or Figma)
- Solid understanding of UX research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design ideas and rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Passion for user experience and a keen eye for detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, pixel-perfect designs that delight users.
- Ability to analyze problems and propose solutions.
- Team player with a synergistic mindset adept in navigating matrixed organizations.
