Responsibilities
Plan, supervise and exercise direct control of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument Craft groups for planned/ corrective and preventive maintenance and Minor project support) work activities. Activities cover all Turbomachinery, Rotating equipment, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Rig Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), and Cranes Maintenance. Vast knowledge and experience in Drilling Rig Living Quarters Equipment. Schedule and assign maintenance tasks to subordinate technicians and follows-up to ensure proper completion.
Qualifications / Experience
Degree or Equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Control or Instrumentation (equivalent to UK NVQ, HNC or bachelor's degree).
10 years' experience in the maintenance, repair, overhaul of a variety of offshore electrical, instrumentation and mechanical equipment (specifically, high speed gas turbine driven machinery and associated plant) in an oil and gas / petrochemical environment and Drilling Rig Equipment Maintenance (of which 5 years must have been spent in a supervisory position).
Experience with and thorough knowledge of gas compression plant maintenance and processes.
Experience in Operations Safety Case, statutory requirements and safe systems of work including the PTW, isolation procedures, and risk assessment.
