SAP Business Analyst
Petroplan is in search of a dynamic SAP Business Analyst to join our LNG client's expanding IT Team. The BA will play a pivotal role in refining and improving our clients financial and procurement procedures. Working closely with various teams, the BA will gather requirements and implement SAP solutions aligned with our organizational goals.
The SAP Business Analyst will be under the supervision of the IT SAP Delivery Manager and act as the primary intermediary among Business stakeholders, End users, SAP managed service provider, and other tech vendors.

The SAP Business Analyst will be under the supervision of the IT SAP Delivery Manager and act as the primary intermediary among Business stakeholders, End users, SAP managed service provider, and other tech vendors.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of SAP IT Implementation Lifecycle experience.
- Minimum 3 years of SAP S/4 HANA Project Management experience.
- Experience managing offshore vendor teams.
- Functional expertise in Finance to Manage area and procure-to-pay (PTP) processes.
- Overall understanding of Warehouse Inventory Management and Plant Maintenance.
- Overall understanding of SAP Technical Landscape.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to convey ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and end users to collect and document requirements for SAP S/4 implementations and enhancements, particularly focusing on various finance and procurement aspects such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury, Cash, Bank, Fixed Assets (FA), etc.
- Analyze new business processes and alterations to existing functionalities, translating user requirements into functional and technical design specifications for SAP modules. Identify areas for enhancement and suggest SAP-based solutions.
- Utilize SAP S/4 Configuration expertise to design solutions meeting business needs and adhering to best practices. Maintain detailed documentation of SAP configurations, business processes, and training materials.
- Devise and execute test plans and scripts to verify SAP configurations and customizations related to various modules.
- Collaborate with the Change Management team to ensure smooth transitions and encourage user adoption of new processes and technologies. Provide training and assistance to end-users for SAP S/4 functionalities.
- Oversee reporting and resolution of issues, risks, and dependencies, proactively identifying planning gaps, implementing risk mitigations, and resolving issues promptly.
- Create and update comprehensive documentation of SAP configurations, business processes, and training materials.
- Evaluate all development efforts impacting existing functionality, ensuring integration and assessing system suitability for the team's responsibilities.
- Efficiently collaborate with business and IT teams to prioritize and schedule changes.
- Communicate with client and vendor IT personnel to accomplish assigned tasks.
