One of our client is looking for the a Crew Coordinator to join their team.

As a Maritime Crew Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of maritime vessels by managing the crew members effectively. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will contribute significantly to maintaining the safety and efficiency of maritime operations.

Function description

In this role, your main Tasks and Responsibilities are:

  • Coordinate crew schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for all maritime projects.
  • Arrange necessary crew training, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage crew rotations and assignments, optimizing crew deployment for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee crew welfare and morale, addressing any concerns or issues to maintain a positive working environment onboard.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address crew-related logistical challenges and ensure seamless maritime operations.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Serious interest in the Maritime and Offshore industries
  • Knowledge of maritime regulations, safety protocols, and crew management practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse crew members and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willigness to learn is crucial
  • English language skills is needed, Dutch is a plus
