Job Overview

As a Crane Operator at Weatherford, you will be responsible for operating lifting equipment that requires specialized trade certification. Under general supervision, you will operate traveling or stationary cranes to lift, move, and position loads. Additionally, you will assist in the assembly, installation, and repair of beam pumping units as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes as required
• Assist in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of pumping units
• Identify components of pumping units
• Learn to evaluate, troubleshoot, and make recommendations as needed
• Execute lockout/tagout (LOTO) energy isolation and stored energy isolation procedures
• Write job safety analysis (JSA) processes under supervision
• Participate in safely executing relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Requirements

• 1-3 years of related field experience
• NCCCO Certification is required
• Current CDL required
• Demonstrated field/shop competency
• Mechanical ability necessary to perform tasks
• Valid driver's license (where applicable)
• NOCP (National Occupational Competency Program) certification
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to follow instructions and work closely with colleagues
• Relevant knowledge of oilfield products
