Overview
Kariera Group is actively recruiting an Onshore Program Director to join a leading global engineering consultancy. This is a high-level leadership opportunity working on iconic oil and gas projects in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience managing large-scale oil and gas programs and demonstrate commercial, operational, and team leadership capabilities across greenfield and brownfield environments.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage projects from conception to execution while meeting contractual and client satisfaction metrics.
· Serve as the prime point of contact between the client and the company.
· Accountable for project cost performance and accounts receivable.
· Lead project management teams, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
· Ensure execution aligns with internal policies, procedures, and quality systems.
· Plan project execution and revise plans as needed to ensure delivery milestones are met.
· Coordinate and manage project leadership personnel across all phases.
· Support business development and proposal efforts for new onshore and offshore opportunities.
· Negotiate changes and resolve conflicts with clients and stakeholders.
· Oversee all contracts across the assigned program of works.
· Forecast workload and deploy sufficient resources in cooperation with the Engineering Manager.
· Provide regular updates to clients and advise on project status and risk.
· Use and promote best practices in project delivery across teams.
· Ensure compliance with Quality Management systems.
· Resolve inter-project conflicts and manage all personnel assigned to contracts effectively.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
· Extensive experience in onshore oil and gas project management.
· Proven experience leading engineering and procurement projects, and multiple high value projects at the same time
· Strong knowledge of detailed design for both greenfield and brownfield projects.
· Prior experience with Aramco standards and requirements.
· Experience in fabrication/construction is beneficial.
· Strong commercial and financial project understanding.
· Leadership and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
· Strong administrative, planning, and resource management skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Experience in risk management and change control processes.
· Team-oriented with a demonstrated ability to drive alignment and commitment across project stakeholders.
