Compression Mechanic performs a variety of duties that may require a degree of skill and ability in the repair, modification and maintenance of machinery and related mechanical equipment. Individual may assist senior level mechanics in dismantling and assembling equipment/machines; repairing and replacing parts. Assist in starting and trouble-shooting owned and contracted rental compression (CAT 3516, 3606, 3608, Waukesha 9394 engines) at Compressor Stations. Assist with conducting or coordinating maintenance work on related gas-treating equipment (dehydration units, fuel gas skids).
