The Lead Project Planner major function is to build and maintain all upstream project plans and schedules using the Primavera P6 tool.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Planning Process and procedures: Develops and maintains the upstream planning and scheduling processes and procedures.
- Tools and Templates: Develops standards and weekly/monthly reporting templates for various types of campaign schedules and milestone trackers.
- Training: Develop training programs for different categories of Primavera P6 users. Conduct training of staff as and when required.
- Admin: Super user for Primavera P6 which is a key business system – ensure that user requests are resolved quickly and effectively and P6 running smoothly.
- Functional leadership: Accountable for timely submission of all project control deliverables.
- Well Delivery Process: Develop detailed project plans using Primavera P6 software. Conducts weekly schedule reviews and report progress versus plans.
Minimum Educational, Technical Qualifications/Certifications Required:
- The role requires both business, construction and engineering orientation. This could have developed through University Degree in Engineering or Business. Candidates with less education but significant E&P scheduling experience will be also valued.
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in a project planning and/or controls role.
