Offshore HSE Superintendent - Angola

On behalf of a major Oil & Gas operator, WRS are looking for an Offshore HSE Superintendent to work in Angola on a contract, rotational basis. This will be a 6 month renewable contract, rotating 28/28, paying a day rate.

The role will be obaord a contractor pipelay vessel, support multiple projects for deepwater assets.

Job Duties:

• Promoting HSE culture throughout all SURF activities carried out offshore in Angola.
• Ensuring that all operations performed by SURF Contractor are covered by proper risk assessment.
• Ensuring that all HSE controls integrated in SURF Contractor installation procedures are properly implemented.
• Following up HSE activities and performances of SURF Contractors vessels.
• Providing HSE assistance onboard vessels during marine operations and participating to incident investigation.
• Consolidating daily and weekly offshore HSE report to be integrated in the reporting of the SURF package activities in Angola.
• Advising on any HSE events influencing the general planning of offshore operations and participating in finding ways to mitigate the changes caused

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Minimum 5 years of experience with project HSE supervision in relation with SURF Rigid Offshore Laying activities.
• Experience working for an Oil & Gas operator
• Must have valid BOSIET/HUET
