A well-rounded and knowledgeable individual, having extensive Operational Experience in similar facilities, you will be required to:
Mentor shift team members in all aspects of plant operations, providing coaching, and developing skills to support succession plans in support of the Operations Superintendent and his team.
Seek continuous improvement opportunities aligned to site initiatives and goals through experience and industry best practice.
Promote and verify through audit and mentoring, compliance with site Control of Work policies and HSE Regulations and Procedures.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities;

• Be a visible leader, supporting the development of Operational Excellence processes.
• Mentor and guide Operators in the areas of PTW, Risk Assessment and Isolation standards, supporting the goal to improve compliance against Control of Work metrics, using experience and bringing industry best practice to the teams, sharing knowledge and learnings.
• Support the Operations Superintendent and Production Supervisor in developing robust succession plans and identify and support Competency Assessment Processes.

Minimum Educational, Technical Qualifications/Certifications Required:

• Engineering or technical qualifications specific to the role and facility, or equivalent Industry Experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 20 years in hydrocarbon facilities. Experience of onshore Gas & LPG plant equipment and processes is essential, and control room and DCS experience would be an advantage.  Previous experience and in-depth knowledge in Control of Work/PTW is essential.
