Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving electrical systems and products, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and providing leadership in technical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, update, and modify electrical design plans and work schedules.
- Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed according to specifications.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other professionals.
- Oversee and improve engineering processes.
- Participate in conferences, events, and learning opportunities to stay abreast of industry developments.
- Prepare budgets, schedules, and company regulations.
- Analyze existing processes and lead improvement initiatives.
- Conduct research, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new team members.
- Ensure a safe and positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferable.
- Extensive practical experience in electrical engineering.
- Additional licenses or certifications may be an advantage.
- Proficiency in CAD software and familiar with industry standards.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams.
- Ability to multitask and manage complex projects.
- A substantial track record in electrical system design and implementation.
- Experience with power distribution, low and medium voltage systems, and backup power generation.
- Familiarity with national and international electrical codes and standards.
