EngineeringLead Mechanical Engineer - Offshore
NES Fircroft is seeking to engage a Lead Mechanical Engineer with the skills and experience to lead a team during the pre-FEED, FEED and EPC stages of offshore Mega projects.
Responsibilities
· Delivering discipline scope in line with schedule and budget
· Controlling scope
· Establishing execution approach
· Allocation and monitoring of work between team members
· Ensuring technical quality and providing guidance to team
· Managing interfaces on project with Project Management, other disciplines, and Client.
· Reporting on project status regularly to Department and Project Management.
· Proactively resolve any discrepancies between the EPC and its Customer's requirements.
· Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
What You Will Bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
· Excellent technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to the EPC and its clients.
· Extensive technical and practical experience in mechanical engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
· Exposure to both fixed and rotating equipment is preferred.
Required
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
· B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
· Offshore large capital project experience
