Lead Civil Structural Architectural Engineer

We have a current opportunity for a Lead Civil Structural Architectural Engineer on a contract basis. The position will be based in France.

Duration: 12-month ++ contract assignment

As the Lead Civil Structural Architectural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of the LNG project. You will be responsible for overseeing all civil, structural, and architectural engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide leadership and direction to the civil, structural, and architectural engineering team throughout all project phases.
  2. Develop and implement engineering design strategies, plans, and methodologies to meet project objectives within budget and schedule constraints.
  3. Review and approve civil, structural, and architectural design drawings, calculations, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable codes.
  4. Conduct technical analyses, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  5. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and stakeholders to optimize design solutions and resolve interdisciplinary conflicts.
  6. Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and technical workshops to communicate engineering updates, challenges, and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Extensive experience in civil, structural, and architectural engineering within the oil and gas industry, preferably with LNG projects.
  • Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing complex projects from conceptual design to construction completion.
  • Fluency in English
