Our client is looking for an HVAC Engineer (Offshore focus).

Please note that this is an on-call position, expected to average 20 hours per week.

Duties generally related to the following but more details in the full job spec:

• Front End Engineering Design (FEED): Lead and contribute to the development of HVAC systems during the FEED phase of offshore projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Conceptual Design: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop conceptual designs for HVAC systems tailored to offshore environments, considering factors such as space limitations, environmental conditions, and safety requirements.
• Technical Evaluation: Conduct technical evaluations of HVAC equipment, materials, and systems, assessing their suitability for offshore applications and compatibility with project specifications.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with HVAC design and implementation in offshore settings, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations governing HVAC design and installation in offshore environments, ensuring adherence to applicable requirements
