Accounting Admin
We are seeking a self-driven, detail-oriented individual with strong, professional written and verbal communication skills. The primary responsibilities include credit recovery, processes refund checks, process third party audit claims and invoices, tracking rebate, and review and monitor duplicate activity for the AP transactions area. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining relationships with vendors, as well as individuals within our organization. The position includes extensive problem solving and research of vendor accounts in SAP.

Essential Job Duties:
• Prepare vendor aging reports monthly for Chemical and Oil and Gas to reduce the number of outstanding invoices.
• Research and reconcile open aging credits by identifying open invoices or contacting the vendor for a refund check.
• Identify and prepare write-offs support documents for credits aged over a year.
• Research and assign account coding for refund payments using SAP.
• Liaison for 3rd Party Audit Company, analyze all claims and invoices for payment for both Chemical and Oil & Gas.
• Semi-annually compile payment data out of SAP to create a report for 3rd party auditors to help in the recovery of overpayments.
• Update the status of each claim in the 3rd Party Audit Company’s dashboard.
• Gather and compile rebates information from the Supply Chain and AP departments for tracking purposes.
• Perform invoices audit review daily for possible duplicate payments.
• Maintain familiarity and adherence to company and department policies and procedures.
• Work with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and accounting staff to resolve account coding issues.
• Work with Supervisor and/or Coordinator on special projects when needed.
• Maintain desk manuals.

Qualifications:
• Minimum two years’ experiences in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• Ability to handle and complete multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong research and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
• Ability to work well with others and maintain composure in handling unpleasant situations.
• Positive Attitude and good work ethic
• Ability to evaluate and analyze areas for improvement and streamline the processes.
• Excellent 10-key and typing skills.
• Intermediate Excel skill
