Document Controller - Upstream Facilities

DOCUMENT CONTROLLER
This position provides Document Control and Document Management support to the Technical Services functions in the Three Rivers field office (Facilities, Maintenance and HSE), including uploading, filing, categorizing, classifying and retrieving documents and reference materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop, document, and manage the document workflow between Operations, Facilities, Maintenance and HSE in the Three Rivers field office.
  • Collaborate with business areas to ensure the proper information is provided for uploading, filing and documentation. Includes developing communications and posts on Teams to ensure that guidelines are met.
  • Ensure that physical documentation is stored in digital form in the appropriate document repositories (working documentation and final documentation).
  • Distribute and store Job Books for construction packages, both physical and electronic copies and maintain inventory of job books. This entails handling existing and new drawings, and managing the document exchange between operator and Engineering Companies.
  • Coach Team through the document workflow and provide training on document management systems
  • Develop and update master spreadsheet for all document locations; determine what we have and where there may be gaps
  • Develop and distribute statistics/status reports on current state of document loading.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any US employer
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience supporting an engineering team, helpful but not required
  • Experience in a field office, helpful but not required
  • Proficient computer skills and in‐depth knowledge of relevant software such as O365 applications, TEAMs collaboration, Sharepoint and knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
