POSITION:          LNG Lead Structural Manager     

LOCATION:        Moscow, Russia   

START DATE:     December 2020

CONTRACT:        Up to 2 years

RATE:                  Competitive

Brunel are looking to identify an LNG Lead Structural Manager with at least 10 years Structural Engineering experience gained in the Oil & Gas sector.  This contract position, (expected for 2 years, no less than 1) is to work on a major LNG Project and you will be residential based in Moscow, Russia.   



Within the LNG Division, the LNG Lead Structural Manager is responsible for:

·        Preliminary structural steel sizing, layout, MTO and cost estimate

·        Interpretation of geotechnical reports and site surveys for incorporation into design

·        Foundation design and piling arrangements (including LNG tanks)

·        Blast resistance calculations and fire structural collapse analysis

·        Structural drawings for onshore and offshore structures (racks, buildings, modules, topsides)

·        Design Specifications for Buildings (sub-stations, control rooms, etc.)

·        Leading 3D-model and design reviews for the structural discipline

·        Weight monitoring and optimization through value-engineering

·        Preparation of Technical Assignment for structural prefabrication contracts

·        Incorporation of vendor data into the design (loads)

·        Guidance during pre-fabrication and construction of structures at Site or Yards

Essential Requirements:

·        Educated to a high standard

·        10 years of work experience as a Structural Engineer in the oil & gas industry

·        Minimum of at least one previous major LNG project in a similar role

·        Experienced in modular construction, blast-resistance, cryogenic spill protection

·        Working knowledge of Russian and International codes and standards

·        Previous experience with Project EPC contractor

·        AVEVA 3D, TEKLA
