Job Title : Construction Superintendent (Brownfield)
Report to : Construction Manager
Location : Korea and Offshore (with business trips to Myanmar & Other SE Asia Countries)

Qualifications & Licenses
Ø BSc. / MSc. / MEng. or equivalent in an engineering or significant relevant industry experience.
Ø Preferably a Registered Professional, Chartered Engineer or member of Professional Engineering Society
Ø Preferably PMP or equivalent project management certifications
To perform the role of Construction Superintendent for Brownfield Works in a client oversight team, assisting Construction Manager in the supervision of the EPCIC Contractor and its sub-contractor(s). This includes taking full responsibility for all brownfield fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning activities for Shwe Phase 3 Project.
Position Experience & Skills Requirements
Key Experience Requirements
Ø Minimum twenty (20) years of work experience of which at least fifteen (15) years must be in the upstream Offshore Oil & Gas industry
Ø At least ten (10) years of experiences in the upstream Offshore Oil & Gas industry in Client side
Ø At least two (2) projects for brownfield development and preference to have experiences for greenfield project with brownfield scope
Ø Previously worked on integrated projects with CAPEX in excess of $300MM.
Ø Preference to have expansion project(s) in a multicultural environment as Construction Superintendent or Equivalent
Critical Technical Skills and Capabilities
Ø Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the construction and fabrication of offshore facilities, particularly in Brownfield construction for Fixed Platform.
Ø Shall possess good knowledge and awareness of brownfield construction and HSE matters including schedule, PTW (Permit to Work), SIMOPs (Simultaneous operations), planning, offshore logistics, progress measurement, technical and methodologies
Ø Preference to have previous experience working for Brownfield project in South East Asian offshore region or in a multicultural environment
Ø Must possess a good understanding of the basic discipline work processes of a EPCIC project
Ø Must be well versed with relevant international codes and standards such as API, ASME, ISO and AWS

Ø Ensure all Brownfield works are fully captured by the Contractor in their Brownfield Modification & Strategy Plan, schedules and other documents.
Ø Ensure the Brownfield SOWs are fully resourced to complete as per schedule.
Ø Consult with the O & M Representative on all major decisions regarding schedule, safety, PTW, manning and others for SIMOPs
Ø Ensure detail planning is completed and manpower and other resources are available to complete the required Works during the designated periods of shutdown
Ø Undertakes construction site surveys to support the ongoing project and provide constructability inputs.
Ø Reviews and checks construction feasibility and method studies to support realistic schedules for construction activities.
Ø Reviews and checks that site safety procedures and construction procedures are incorporated with project specific requirements of HSE
Ø Reviews and checks that site quality plan and quality procedures are incorporated with project specific requirements of quality.
Ø Establish a good working relationship and communications with the Contractors engineering, design and production personnel
Ø Maintain good communications with the Operation Group in the Company’s and Contractor’s organizations
Ø Participate in the resolution of design/construction related issues and follow through to implementation at site.
Ø Reviews and identifies critical execution issues, and assists with the overall schedule and the construction execution plan.
Ø Reviews and checks for approval plans, drawing and procedures for all temporary facilities and construction equipment.
Ø Liaise with project engineers to ensure priorities are maintained for work preparation and execution
Ø Monitor engineering progress and engineering deliverable dates and advise any impacts to the construction program
Ø Interface with other work site(s) of project PMT (e.g. Jacket/Bridge/Topside Sites) to align fabrication schedule, methodologies, work practice in compliance with project requirements
Ø Provide input to project reporting as needed
Ø Monitor construction activities to ensure completion is in sequence and priority for mechanical completion and pre-commissioning activities
