Process Engineer job in Paris at IOTA SA (1 Job)

The objective of the mission is:

§  The definition of scope of work, the implementation, follow-up and control of Process studies, the

§  analysis of their results, the issue/validation of recommendations for the design of facilities and

§  the control of design (Basic Engineering / Detailed Engineering) performed by Contractors, in

§  compliance with Project Specifications and Procedures,  General Specifications, discipline

§  requirements and international codes, with the objective to reduce costs without impacting the

§  schedule or the required level of quality and safety.

The main missions required throughout the project will include:

• HSE:

§  Implementation of HSE rules and requirements within a specific area of responsibility.

§  Participation to safety related reviews (HAZOP, PR …)

• For in-house studies:

§  In cooperation with other disciplines, definition of methodologies and process studies objectives

§  When required, performance of simulations with PRO II, UNISIM and FLARE SIM and preparation and issue BFD’s & PFD’s,

§  Recommendation of Process optimization with regards to treatment energy efficiency, GHG emissions and costs

• For subcontracted studies:

§  Identification, definition of the scope of work, compilation of inputs, implementation and follow-up of all necessary subcontracted studies and then review the results and simulations works, provide recommendations for input in the design of facilities as a result of Process studies performed, considering risks and uncertainties associated

• Management & governance

§  Recommendation of alternative designs or technical solutions

§  Preparation and development of the Project Operating Philosophy and Procedures and identification of the corresponding process constraints requiring analysis and resolution.

§  Report regularly with progress reports and study reports, contribution to the Conceptual Study Report and to the SOR

§  Contribution to Quality Reviews, Projects Reviews

• During the FEED / Execution Phases:

§  Support and provide technical information to the Package teams during the FEED / Execution phases
