The Senior Project Expeditor reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, responsible for the following:
Lead a group of expeditors or act as lead expeditor on a project.
Perform the assigned tasks and provide supervision and guidance to assigned personnel.
Expediting Supplier’s deliverables and deliveries in accordance with the project schedule, requirements & specifications.
Provide continuous insight into supplier's progress towards meeting purchase order requirements, particularly delivery schedules. Gather available data to explain requirements against which suppliers progress can be measured. Monitor and report that progress to project management.
Develop alternative and timely schemes to keep progress on schedule for project requirements.
Manage an expediting report where all disciplines are recorded, indicating progress on procurement, fabrication, quality inspections and logistics.
Indicate Key Performance Areas and the estimated percentage of time spent in each area.

Inspections & Surveillance
Liaise with SQS co-ordinator for all necessary visits to suppliers by Project inspectors throughout the stages of fabrication.
Visual verification on smaller orders when required.

Coordinate Logistics and Storage
Project Main Logistics Contractor
Liaise with logistics Coordinator and suppliers for shipping release activities.
Ensure that Suppliers comply with the packaging requirements before delivering to FCA.

Ensure storage practices are always adhered to.
When materials are being stord at suppliers facilities ensure Project and Site packing and storage standards are maintained.

C.1 Minimum Qualifications:
University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience:
Typically 7 years relevant experience
Good Knowledge around fabrication.
Good computer literacy: Excel, Word and Outlook
Must be good with figures and calculations
Strong planning and organizing skills
