About the role

As a Sales Manager (m/f/d), you develop new relationships and act as the trusted business partner with a deep understanding of your clients challenges and needs. As a member of our team, you will act as the primary customer contact and inspire organizations in the clean energy space on how to unlock the full potential of their asset portfolio with our software solutions.  
This position will be located in our headquarters in Munich.

What You Will Do

  • You will drive business development, forecast accurately, and deliver against assigned strategic goals while prioritizing an excellent customer experience for our customers 
  • You will manage opportunities and act as the primary customer contact 
  • You will take the responsibility for the entire sales cycle, from building pipeline to closing opportunities 
  • You will negotiate and manage entire complex business-cycles, presenting to C-level executives of corporate and global customers 
  • You will align with internal and external business partners and technology experts from around the world about their requirements, needs and future product ideas 
  • You will collaborate with our marketing team to align requirements and achieve business goals 


Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Economics, Business, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or Sustainability 
  • Minimum 5 years of SaaS sales experience  
  • Experience in selling enterprise software and consulting services in the B2B market, ideally in a Business Intelligence and Analytical environment 
  • Strong experience and understanding of the clean energy industry 
  • Solid commercial and legal negotiations skills, working with different stakeholders like procurement, legal, and business teams 
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Hubspot)
  • Ability to build relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment 
  • Ability to leverage C-level relationships with executives
  • Excellent English language skills and ability to speak and write in German fluently to present to clients
