We are looking for Assistant/Service Engineer for Electrical & Automation. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore.

What will you be doing:

As Assistant/Service Engineer for Electrical & Automation, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • To acquire the necessary knowledge needed to perform assigned tasks through in-house and on-the-job training structured by the department
  • To assist engineer to perform electrical field service repair works / trouble shooting as directed. 
  • To perform electrical field service work as directed.
  • To perform electrical commissioning activities as required.
  • To liaise, organize and execute the given tasks independently / under the instruction of engineer.
  • To collect and organise time / travel expenses reports after completion of respective works.
  • To provide internal / external work reports and as built documentation.
  • To ensure risk assessment conducted at work and all times complying to local Workplace Health, Safety and Environment regulations and customer site procedures.
  • To perform daily office activities as required.
  • To proactively advice and promote available products and solutions to customer.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Self-motivated individuals, able to retain enthusiasm and stay focused
  • Mature, hardworking, have good anticipation with a problem-solving attitude
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent
  • At least 2 years or above of related working experience in the field of marine engineering
