Facilities Technician job in Warrington at Element

Element has an opportunity for a Facilities Technician to join our growing team at Warringtonfire. This is a great opportunity to start your career within a Global Testing, Inspection and Certification business.

• Assist the maintenance team with the general upkeep of our Warrington facility
• Operating industrial hoovers, cleaning the building walls, steel work and roof areas in our testing areas
• Cleaning exterior furnaces
• Painting of equipment and the facility
• Support Maintenance Engineers to carry out their day to day activities
• Support Maintenance Technician in daily preventative maintenance
• Carrying out basic facility repairs / tasks in the office premises
• Assisting contractors to specified tasks onsite
• Collection of maintenance equipment and supplies 
• Prepare equipment for shipment to suppliers
• Monthly pool vehicle checks

• Ideally experienced in Labouring from a Maintenance or Facilities environment, although not essential 
• Good awareness of H&S and environmental issues
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised 
• Working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am to 4pm with some flexibility
