Our company is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of " Structure Lead Engineer" for our Billion dollar LNG Project at a fabrication yard based in Murmansk, Russia.

Contract Duration: 2-3 Years

Rotaton : 56 days on/ 21 days off

Duties and Responsibilities:

His objective is to support the detailed studies management, subcontracted by VLS and RHI to different RDIs or Subcontractors.

    • Control that targets on quality and schedule for detail design are maintained.
    • Ensure that quantities are revised and updated each month all along the project.
    • Review with SUBCONTRACTORS RDIs the weekly and monthly Engineering progress data.
    • Solve technical issues with STEEL SUBCONTRACTORS in coordination with
    • Specialist in Moscow operating Center
    • Control 3D model progress and production curves for the documentation.
    • Answer and solve some technical queries (TQ's) issued by the steel Subcontractor in coordination with Moscow operating Center. He will prepare the tracking list, will monitor the replies and will act in case of delay. Normal time to reply is less than one week.
    • Alert NOVARCTIC in case of disruption or nonapplication of the project procedures.
    • Check RDIs report of Steel Subcontractors and will report each week, with a brief summary:
    • Weekly progress, cumulated progress, planned progress for coming weeks.
    • The report will indicate also the number of pending TC/TD's, Particular point and all modifications issued and implemented
    • Ensure correct receipt and understanding of information of Steel Subcontractors

Key Competencies Required:

  • Office package (strong usage of excel)
  • 3 years of relevant and recent experience in the use of Tekla software,
  • Experience with steel structure shopdrawings (KMD) process
  • 3D Modeler and Viewer software (Tekla, Naviswork, Aveva)
  • FEM software (i.e. SAP 2000) is a plus
  • Minimum of 10 year relevant experience in large scale LNG project.
