Eaton’s Marketing Commercial Operations is currently seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to join our team. This position is based in Asheville, NC; Fayetteville, NC or Greenwood, SC. Remote work from another Eaton facility or from home is permitted. Position Overview: The marketing communications manager will lead the strategy, development, execution and measurement of all marketing communications activities, both digital and traditional, for Eaton’s power distribution and control assemblies (PDCA) products, including low- and medium-voltage switchgear, low- and medium-voltage motor control centers, integrated power assemblies and unit substations – with an emphasis on the industrial market and consulting specifying engineers. The successful candidate will work closely with the Brightlayer Industrial suite team on integrated marketing communications plans to support our Brightlayer digital foundation. Critical to the success of this position is the ability to build productive and professional relationships with product marketing, segment marketing, sales, other marketing communications professionals and creative agencies to achieve objectives. In this function you will: Direct and continuously improve the onboarding program for each role in the organization. Collaborate with L&D COE team and others, when applicable, to ensure efficient and meaningful onboarding to Eaton. Develop, maintain, and improve training programs specific to each role to ensure continuous employee development in the role as well as a path to develop into each role. Lead 1st-year Technical Sales Leadership Development Program in collaboration with PMO Training Specialist, local Assignment Managers, L&D COE, and Early Talent. Lead Electrical Sector - Americas Customer Experience Essentials team to develop and facilitate learning that builds a culture of world-class customer service. Facilitate engaging and effective instructor-led training in person and virtually. Develop new content as needed/assigned (i.e. new systems, tools, processes, concepts such as TalentHub or Customer Experience Essentials). Administer and facilitate EatonCare & PMO for Field Sales Onboarding 4-5 times per year, either virtually or in-person. Has knowledge of or ability to learn EatonCare & PMO systems, tools, and processes, Eaton electrical products and customers, Sales processes, the electrical group structure, etc. Has knowledge of or ability to learn L&D best practices such as training effectiveness, eLearning development, video development, Eaton University administration, etc. Responsible for tracking training, compiling data, and using such to demonstrate the value of the L&D role and support CI projects. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum 5 years in a Sales Operations/PMO role OR Learning & Development role Sponsorship is not available.
