  • Actively meet and present to current and prospective customers with an outcome to gain further market share
  • Participate in growing overall account base across multiple business lines with key customers
  • Demonstrating overall business value proposition and the ability to cross sell and upsell opportunities   
  • Being a go-to contact and/or technical lead to our customers on various product lines
  • Identify future opportunities in the market to further strengthen our market position
  • Being involved in identifying additional service offerings/innovations whilst closely working with the rest of the sales and operational teams
  • Support the sales team with market insights, collectively and collaboratively cross sell opportunities
  • Working alongside project managers on contractual or operational matters whilst being the key internal stakeholder for strategic collaboration and guidance on multi-service customers.
  • Aid the contract transition planning by reviewing the transition plans prior to submission/award to identify pre planning or items to optimize customer onboarding.
  • Identify opportunities to customers for bundled SGS products and services to deepen current client relationships.
  • Monitor the marketplace and stay up to date with future investments
  • Become a technical development lead for one or more divisional service lines
  • Preferred formal qualifications or work experience related to the scientific field,  laboratory operations across the environmental, mining, government or oil and gas sectors.
  • Previous experience in Senior Account Management, Sales or Customer Service is a preference
  • General knowledge of computer applications, preferred MS office suite
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Great verbal & written communication skills
  • A positive attitude, self-motivation and determination to achieve targets
  • Understanding of Testing, Inspection & Certification market particularly in the Mining, Oil, Gas, Industrial, Goverment and Environmental markets.
