Kent are seeking a Lead Planner to join our Perth team. This role will provide structured planning support across several contracts. The Lead Planner will also provide a supervisory and monitoring role for less senior planners in the APAC PMO

About the role:
The Lead Planner will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Work with the Portfolio Manager, Projects Directors and Project Managers across multiple contracts to meet key milestones
• Provide insights for management consideration in relation to ‘best in industry’ approaches to planning
• Establish the enterprise planning system to maintain data integrity.
• Develop project controls and planning execution strategies
• Develop basis of schedule documents
• Produce schedules for both engineering and construction (EPC or PMC) projects with high level of skill and understanding of construction and engineering planning and programming principles, standards, and methodology
• Develop an APAC wide resource planning or resource lookahead capability though the integration of multiple plans and estimates
• Produce resource histograms/management charts per schedule
• Ensure schedules are created in line with the Kent Integrated Management System (KMS)
• Ensure schedules are integrated with the agreed project coding structure
• Prepare reporting on the various schedules to meet the agreed reporting requirements.
• Attend Kent forum’s or Center or Excellence meetings related to planning
• Train project managers in the use of the scheduling software.
