Renewables Environmental Permitting Lead/Project Manager – Remote

Based in one our US office working remotely, you’ll have the opportunity to technically lead and/or manage siting and permitting efforts for renewable energy capital projects (including transmission) and monitoring efforts for installed infrastructure. You will also contribute to the continued growth of our renewables business through development of client relationships, opportunity research and tracking, and preparation of client proposals. You will be challenged to identify ways to enhance efficiency and innovation in the delivery of our client projects and encouraged to promote Jacob’s delivery successes in internal and external venues. Jacobs supports work from home; you did not need to regularly present within a Jacobs office.
- Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, environmental planning, or other related technical degree
- Experience in technical or management leadership for environmental planning and permitting projects
- Experience obtaining environmental clearance for renewables projects and/or transmission based on an understanding of policies and procedures of local, state, and federal agencies
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Master’s degree in environmental science, environmental planning, or other related technical degree
- Regulatory experience with BLM
- Active engagement in professional organizations
- CEQA experience
