The Role: We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our growing Financial Analysis team, which is part of the Commercial/Optimisation function, based in France, either in La Ciotat, Paris, Rennes or Toulouse. The Financial Analyst is responsible for identifying and implementing optimisation opportunities across the Sonnedix portfolio of solar PV plants in multiple locations and leads on commercial risk management activities. The successful applicant will support the team with preparing the financial models and analysis of solar power plant projects, across all countries, including building and maintaining financial models for solar PV plants, supporting the evaluation of potential investment opportunities, and maintaining the model portfolio for all existing and new power plants. The Financial Analyst will seek to continuously improve this by drawing on information from developers, finance and operations, while also designing and building high quality reports on the performance of each plant to our management team, investors and lenders and to support the early detection of any underperformance and its root cause. Desirable Skills: - Relevant qualification and experience in Financial Modelling - Excellent written and spoken French and English - Self-starter who thrives on a challenge - Excellent Excel skills, VBA a plus - Excellent communication skills and relationships building with internal stakeholders and external advisors
