Payments Technology Delivery Senior Manager job in at NEOM

NEOM’s Financial Services sector (FSS) aims for universal access to financial services by achieving seamless end-to-end solutions, fully digital payments, advanced interfaces, biometric identification systems and other cutting-edge technologies. FSS is in the process of building up a technology stack and ecosystem as it embarks on its journey to establish NFI Stack as the underlying digital platform along with associated enabling applications & services for different sectors serving both enterprise, government, and private customers in NEOM. NFI - PP (NEOM Financial Inclusion Platform & Products is the NEOM financial platform; and represents the centerpiece of the FSS’s strategy.

The Payments Technology Delivery Manager will report to the Executive Director of Financial Services Sector.

• We are looking for a passionate and hands on payments technology professional to join the FSS Technology Platforms & Products leadership team. This role will be primarily responsible to build the payments technology infrastructure from ground up, which will be a key component in the payments eco-system. The Delivery Manager will work closely with Product Owner & other stake holders in conceptualization and implementation of world-class Payments eco-system. While the initial focus will be on delivering the platform, over time this role will be responsible for Build & Run and optimizing the payments technology setup and other associated platforms for Neom FSS.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility & accountability for the end-to-end delivery cycle and payments technology architecture i.e. requirement gathering, design, development, implementation, testing, certification, training, go-live etc.
• Delivery Head will work closely with Product Owner in conceptualization and implementation of world-class Payments eco-system.
• Work with the product team, vendors and other stakeholders on new ideas / concepts, innovation and get directly involved in implementation of innovative products & services.
• Lead Evaluation of systems engineering, integration, infrastructure, operations and support improvement models
• Translate complex concepts into multiple architectural “views” aimed at varying audience
• Take responsibility for planning, executing, tracking and managing cost, schedule, and scope for all technology projects.
• Responding to the rapid market demands by adapting the technology to suit the services catalogue
• Work with Cloud infrastructure providers and the Cyber security agencies to ensure compliance to all the regulations and policies pertaining to Neom FSS.
• Oversee critical aspects like information security, compliance, regulations pertaining to Neom FSS.
• Support evolution of the technology strategy and the framework for Neom payments eco-system.
• Take responsibility to build strong technology operations setup comprising of policies, processes & people.
• Build a strong team that believes in Neom FSS vision & mission and strives for success.

Preferred Knowledge & Skills

• The ideal candidate will be an experienced, hands-on Solution Architect and technical lead with extensive experience in the payments industry
• Strong technology & functional knowledge of banking, finance & payments industries with 10-15 years of technology delivery & project management experience
• Experience in new-age, digital technology in the banking & payments industry will be an added advantage
• Experience in working with start-up organizations and helping them building technology infrastructure & operations will be added advantage
• Experience of working in different geographies and with people from different nationalities & culture
• Experience of leading large & complex transformation projects and delivering them successfully
• Strong experience in payments technologies like Cards, digital wallets, payment gateway, remittances etc
• Strong experience in digital banking, digital payments & digital lending
• Strong vendor & stakeholder management skills
• Good communication, documentation & presentation skills
• Should be familiar with Agile, Devops & Waterfall project management styles
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills with the ability to drive consensus in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams

Experience and Education Requirements

• Bachelor / Master of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration
• Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in technology division for large banking & finance institutions
• Must be familiar with the new-age, digital technologies, products & services
• Minimum 10 years of experience payment systems like cards, NEFT/RTGS, Remittances, eCommerce, payment gateways and new-age payment systems like IMPS, UPI, National Toll System etc.
• Must be familiar with national ID (UID) technology and use of that from banking perspective
