Painter / Blaster

UGL have current vacancies for a highly skilled and safety focused Painter/Blasters to join our Maintenance Program in Long Island Point (Hastings), VIC. Previous experience in an Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical or continuous processing plant is essential for these positions. Exposure to working in bulk fuel terminal tanks, Confined space work and piping will be highly regarded.

About You

  • Certificate III in Surface Preparation Coating Application

  • Highly experienced Painter Blaster

  • NACE Coating Inspector, Level 1 Certified (Desirable)

  • Maintaining a safe work environment by identifying hazards and safety awareness

  • Coating preparation and blasting work

  • Paint application to the highest standards

  • Ensure equipment is well maintained

  • Work to a high standard and be passionate about what you do

  • Demonstrated Leadership Qualities in the application of Safe Systems of Work

  • Confined Space Entry (Desirable)

  • Work at Heights (Desirable)
