What you'll do
You will advise a range of clients, including High Net Worth Individuals and Entrepreneurs on their tax and succession requirements. This could include advising on IHT, CGT, SDLT and VAT.
You will become an expert in your field, working towards becoming a point of contact for tax queries across the wider firm.
Although tax advice will be the main focus of your role, you will also support the team with wider Private Client matters. to include advising on Trusts and Estates.
What we're looking for
We are looking for an NQ Solicitor (up to 1 year PQE) who has ideally had experience advising on tax matters, either in a Corporate or Private Client setting. It will be vital that you have a strong interest in developing your career in tax, and in return, the firm will support you to complete the CTA qualification and become a Chartered Tax Advisor if you have not yet achieved this.
This is a varied yet specialist role and an opportunity to take the work in your own direction. You will have an entrepreneurial approach and be genuinely committed to this area of law.
