Main Duties : Project Manager - Heavy Lift & Installation projects


Job description

Brevan is currently looking for a Project Manager to work with our client who is a leader in heavy lift and installation projects.

PM will be responsible for managing all aspects of a project by means of contract- risk management, project preparation, execution and project controlling in line with applicable internal standards, procedures, systems and local legislation, in order to ensure the project is executed and the deliverables are met in line with the agreed contract requirements.

Reports to
Project Director / Operations Director
Key result areas
1. Contract Management
Assess and study the agreed contract of both customers and sub-contracters.
2. Project Planning
Prepare the project execution plan, initiate and manage both internal en external processes by setting up project organisation in line with internal standards.
3. Operations
Manage and direct operations in line with the Project Management Planning and agreed contract.
4. SHE-Q
Ensure operation executions are in compliance with SHE-Q standards and procedures, and lead by example in regard to safety awareness.
5. Personnel Management
Manage, motivate and support both operational field and office employee with the provided management tools, and guidelines.
6. Project Control
Monitor all project related financial processes, and take action on identify potential risk areas in line with financial -and risk management guidelines.
7. Reporting
Provide insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad-hoc reports and analyses in line with the reporting requirements.

Key skills

- Project Management, basic understanding
(project preparation, quality, project structures, planning, risk management, contracts, costs & finance, practice interviews, project execution, leadership, teamwork & communication, conflicts & negotiations)
- English, fluent proficiency verbal and written

Education & experience

- An academic degree at Master level or comparable, graduated preferably with distinction in technical or operations related discipline.
- Excellent spoken and written business English.
- ≥ 3 ≤ 5 years of work experience
- Assessment results with scores > average
- Proven track record
