By joining Emerson on this position, you will work with the Supply Chain Optimization team to support Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) data and processes. The Analyst will be responsible for understanding key business processes and systems solutions supporting those processes; development and maintenance of metrics supporting the SCO program management of data needed for program on-boarding and daily operations; troubleshooting daily operational issues and responding appropriately.

In this role you will:
The role of the Logistics OTM Analyst includes but is not limited to working with the Program teams to support the Supply Chain Optimization program by:
•Developing reports, metrics, and other solutions needed to manage Supply Chain Optimization program;
•Weekly Reporting on Carriers Metrics;
•Cost Reduction Database Projects;
•Global and European leakage reports all modes of transport;
•Accurately setting up and maintaining the master-data such as locations, carriers, rates, user accounts and system passwords requested by internal and external Emerson users within the required time frame;
•Manage the Program Operations Help Desk and provide daily logistics support for European supplier and Emerson users;
•Interact frequently with system users both internal and external to Emerson to provide user support and problem resolution;
•Identify cost savings opportunities (route guide optimization, order consolidation, lead time compliance);
•Responsible for running and improving reports on daily shipment activities.
For this role you will need:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or any related discipline;
•ERP- knowledge;
•Understands basic concepts of supply chain, logistics, or transportation terminology and processes;
•Comfortable interacting with a staff across a globally diverse business;
•Ability to multi-task and work in multi-disciplinary teams;
•Strong problem-solving skills;
•Excellent interpersonal communication skills; comfortable working across multiple functional areas;
•Familiarity with transportation managements systems (TMS); electronic data interchange technologies (EDI, XML);
•Supply chain; logistics; or transportation industry experience is highly desirable.
