Principal Process Engineer

Purpose:
The Process Engineer will solve complex engineering problems efficiently and economically. This person will apply advanced engineering techniques and be proficient in current engineering theories and practices. They may serve as a technical consultant in an area of specialty and may provide supervision for other projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generate, review, and approve process deliverables such as H&MB, PFD's, P&IDs, equipment specifications, hydraulics calculation, contingency analysis, & process instrument data
• Conduct Process studies as needed
• Mentor junior Process Engineers
• Review requisitions, bid evaluations, and support other disciplines
• Proactively resolve any discrepancies

Qualifications:

• A recognized and relevant engineering degree
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering; management, project management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent

Hourly pay will be based on level of experience.
