Role Purpose: Are you a Sustainability or a Carbon Compliance Analyst who has a keen interest in Net Zero. A leading energy consultancy based in London are expanding their growing team and are looking for a Sustainability Analyst to provide support services and ongoing care to existing large and multi-site clients interested in net zero strategy. As the Sustainability Analyst you will be giving technical support on emission accounting and modelling and you will also be supporting the sales team with proposal writing for the company’s sustainability services.   • Produce greenhouse gas inventories to assist companies with their regulatory compliance.
  • Inform clients with their emissions reduction strategies.
  • Implement software-based solutions for sustainability data management.
  • Create effective frameworks for representing organisations’ climate impacts.
  • Provide technical support on emissions accounting and modelling.
  • Advise on compliance with UK and EU climate policy, including GHG reporting legislation, energy efficiency legislation, and industrial relief programmes (including SECR, ESOS, and CCAs).
  • Support with the marketing of the educational content on developments in energy technology and climate policy.
  • Experience Required:
  • A demonstrable interest in the environment and in helping companies reduce their GHG emissions – essential
  • Exceptional data management, analysis and presentation skills – essential
  • Experience in modelling GHG Protocol Scope 1 and 2 emissions – essential
  • Some experience in modelling GHG Protocol Scope 3 emissions – desirable
  • Strong communications skills with an aptitude in adapting language to a range of audiences including clients, policy experts, salespeople, and a general audience
  • A passion for educating and engaging with clients – essential
  • An aptitude for analysing and communicating ever changing regulatory guidance – desirable
  • Previous project management experience – desirable
