The Product Line Director (PLD) leads, sets, and communicates the strategic direction of the Downhole Sensors product line and provides tactical management of the projects under development for a given year. The PLD must understand both internal and external customer needs, and work with the relevant functional groups to assure the product strategy is developed and implemented to meet these needs. The strategy should balance sales, operational, and business development requirements. The PLD must be an excellent communicator, able to lead without direct authority, understand the sales, customer, and competitive environments, know the product technically along with its applications, and have good general business acumen.
Core Functions: Oversees, coordinates, provides leadership to and reviews the work of managers and individual contributors. Head of a department reporting to the head of a function/division. Acts as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall policies and long-term goals of the organization.

PROBLEM SOLVING: Problems are difficult, highly complex and usually identified by upper level leadership. Solutions require complex analysis and investigation and coordination of resources. Works with peers and other functions to address significant challenges.
Yearly delivery of Strategic and Business plan, for approval of senior leadership.
Meet yearly financial metrics, aligned with the Business Unit targets.
Propose new products, along with supporting Business Case.
Timely delivery of new products along with sales, market share, ROI and Profitability.
Propose measure to rationalize the product portfolio.
Experience and Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering
6-12 years of work experience
Preferred experience in designing and developing downhole drilling and completions tools or Service Company field experience in drilling/completions
Show progressive leadership experience in Engineering, Operations, or Product Line Management
