Reed engineering are currently supporting a manufacturing company based in the heart of Essex.

This specialist manufacturer has developed within a niche market where they are at the cutting edge of technology. This innovative company are an independent developer and manufacture of gas sensors, where there has been a huge demand for their quality products. Working from state of the art purpose built facilities they are continuing to invest heavily in their current market and other related market places.

Due to their continuing success they are looking to bring in an in house senior electronic design engineer. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned engineer to develop their own department and continue driving innovation through the business.

Duties

  • Develop through research and development their current product range always looking for the advance of technology and utilising this to promote new and exciting visons.
  • Designing, developing and debugging and production engineering both current products and new products.
  • Experience in analogue, digital and embedded systems
  • Design, development and build of test jigs to support manufacturing and Quality Assurance
  • Coding experience in python and C++ would be an advantage
  • Optics experience would also be advantageous
  • Qualifications and skills

  • This position would suit an agile electronic engineer who aspires to this type of autonomous role
  • A degree in electronic engineering or equivalent
  • Analogue and digital experience
