My Client is a large international Oil and Gas company who are currently searching a Deputy Refinery for their Chemical Plant. The Deputy Manager will be required to report to the Plant manager and be able to support all activities on the Chemical Plant including managing Heads, supervisors and operators to ensure production.
The Deputy Manager will be required to:
Supervise all activities on Chemical plant and ensure performance
Supervise all HSE activities to ensure productivity rates are not affected by incidents
Review all operating data and approve shift supervisor logbooks
Review daily performance of the plant
Approve start-up, shut-down, emergency and critical operating procedures
Approve maintenance requests and schedules
Coordinate team for unit performance, optimisation and troubleshooting
Coordinate with engineering companies, vendors, Process licensor's on all process design and operating data
Audit procurement for suppliers and equipment
The successful candidate will require a degree in Chemical Engineering including 15+ years experience in Oil and gas industry with 8 years in refineries
