If you are a Systems Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Sidney, Ohio location, you will experience a demanding, fast paced career opportunity that requires a critical thinking, agile problem solver that enjoys the challenge of a continuously evolving environment. You will have key responsibilities in supporting critical business functions in Teamcenter across engineering/manufacturing and supply chain. You must have solid written and oral communication skills and have the ability to work seamlessly with a global team. 
AS A SENIOR / TEAMCENTER SYSTEM ENGINEER, YOU WILL: 
  • Need to be able to clearly document requirements.
  • Need to have high competency in general Teamcenter administration.
  • Manage development streams with offshore development teams.
  • Need to be proficient in Teamcenter, both from rich client, AWC and server side.
  • Host weekly meetings with development team and track tasks and status to business priority.
  • Ensure timely delivery and quality of deliverables.
  • Meet with business leaders/sponsors to provide technical guidance and transpose business needs into functional, technical and system requirements..
  • Provide weekly status reports to business stakeholders.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree in PLM, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Must have 3 years' experience in implementing Teamcenter and related technologies.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to give both business facing and technical presentations that convey complex topics.
  • Experience in aspects of Teamcenter implementation and administration.
  • Must have a strong appetite for quickly learning new technologies and be able to quickly adapt to changes.
  • Ability to travel 0%-5% of the time.
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role. 
 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Must have 5 years' experience in implementing Teamcenter and related technologies.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to give both business facing and technical presentations that convey complex topics.
  • Must have experience in all aspects of Teamcenter implementations including upgrades.
  • Must have strong appetite for quickly learning new technologies and be able to quickly adapt to changes.

About our Location

The newly renovated Sidney campus has 1M square feet of manufacturing floor with an additional 120K square feet of leading-edge lab facilities. This location is the headquarters for the air conditioning and cold chain businesses. Through our 30 years of scroll compressor expertise, our air conditioning related products help bring comfort and convenience in commercial, industrial and residential spaces. The cold chain business helps ensure the food safely and efficiently travels from farm to fork. Approximately 1600 employees work in Sidney, who all support a multitude of business functions. With the blend of businesses and functions represented under this one roof, there are many opportunities for advancement within the Sidney location.
