As an Electrical Engineer (Mid-Level) on our design team in Gainesville, FL, you will take ownership in creating documents to build power generation, substation and distribution systems across the globe. You’ll tap into both your creative and analytical sides in this role as you prepare central plant and utility distribution designs and master planning.
Responsibilities will include system modeling and calculations including lightning protection, grounding, load flow, short-circuit analyses and arc-flash analysis, coordination studies, protective relay setting development and coordination of electrical interconnection of new generation to the utility power grid.
By driving collaboration and innovation across Power & Energy projects, you’ll grow your consulting career as you develop and implement project plans and designs, ensuring product quality, safety and on-schedule and on-budget completion.

Here’s what you’ll need:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
At least 3 years of design experience
Strong technical writing skills
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Professional Engineer (P.E.) License, or ability to obtain within 2 years
Power System Modelling Experience using SKM Power Tools, ETAP or similar modelling software
Experience with power system controls using SEL RTAC or similar automation platforms
Experience with 3D modeling and viewing software such as AutoCAD, CADWorx, Revit, and NavisWorks
