Atlas Professionals has a new exiting role available at the Nordex company in Germany. They are looking for a Material Manager within one of their Project Management teams. The core competence of Nordex is the manufacturing of onshore wind energy plants. With over 28 GW installed capacity worldwide, their turbines supply sustainable energy to more than 80% of the global energy market and they are one of the largest companies in the wind industry.

Corporate point of contact for the necessary materials onsite
Liaison between the Project Management and Service organisation
Create and follow up on project material orders in SAP
Manage and coordinate the on-time delivery of the material (and solve and coordinate potential delays)
Support local request and analysis of spare parts
Analyse and optimize current stock levels
Work closely together with other relevant departments on operational and process related issues (fg Production, Site Management, Service Spare Parts Management)
Take ownership and draft specific product related management plans
Participate in material related meetings
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
Able to perform within a team environment
Proven professional experience with (technical) Materials
Experienced in working with SAP MM and MS Office
Having a degree in Engineering – Logistics – Mechanical Engineering or a commercial/technical study with a focus on logistics.
