Job Description
Are you a degree qualified engineer with significant Subsea / X-trees experience?
If so, we are looking for 3 x Project Engineers and we'd be keen to hear from you! Our client, a global leader in its market, is looking for individuals who have likely came from a design based role, and then moved into Project engineering.
These are initial 6 month contracts based in Leeds, and the client can offer hybrid working as part of the role. Within the role, you will be responsible for the execution of Tree Engineering projects, per the Customer’s contract, within budget and schedule. The team you would be part of, are responsible for ensuring the delivered scope provides maximum technical benefit to the customer, whilst supporting the business achieve the greatest margin and client satisfaction.
The role involves collaborating across all the Tree Engineering groups from Pre-Execution Engineering to Tree Product Engineering to Engineering Services and Systems Engineering. Project Engineers are expected to work closely with Project Management, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing and Operations as well as with the Customer, the Subsea Integrated Alliance (SIA) and external vendors.
Additional responsibilities / experience required:
- Creation of all top-level documentation and BOMs as well as providing guidance on product design and ensuring the delivered product meets the customer contract
- You are required to run all design reviews both internally and externally
- Provide monthly project updates to Senior Engineering management
- Guide the product groups and top level modelling teams in creation of the optimal solution
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and prioritisation skills
- Ability to analyse and solve complex technical problems to provide cost effective design solutions
- Previous Tree Product experience advantageous but not mandatory
- Degree in Engineering or suitable alternative qualification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record working to and achieving deadlines
- Have an adaptable / flexible approach including willingness to travel internationally to support customer and plant meetings where necessary
- Conversant in Inventor and AutoCAD
- Proficient in Optimus and Microsoft Office products
